Chappie (Angel) may look devilish, but he’s a cuddle bug at heart. He was dumped and had been trying to survive as a stray until he was found with a leg injury after having been attacked (twice now). He went through treatments and was made to stay inside and wear a cone during recovery. He is now fully healed and more than ready to be part of a forever family. This boy needs a safe haven.
The vet thinks this 14-pound boy is about 3 years old. Chappie (Angel) is an easy-going, relaxed guy who loves being carried and held like a baby. He doesn’t want much more than to hang out on your bed and knead your leg. He’s social and talkative, and learned how to use a litter box quickly. This is not a shy guy- he loves to meet and interact with human house guests! He displays dominant behaviors, so would do best in a house without other cats. Angel mostly wants to spend his day and night relaxing near you; however, he can play rough so is probably not a great fit for small children or older adults. From being put in a carrier for trips to the vet, to having to wear a cone for a month- he takes everything in stride. He is eager to settle into a house and be part of a loving home.
