Sweet Brave was found wandering the streets and stayed in front of a strangers house for several days until the owner posted him on NextDoor. Two of our wonderful volunteers went out and captured him. He was taken to the vet and he had a chip! We were so excited he would be reunited with his family, but sadly his family cared less about him and said they didn't want him any longer because he wouldn't bond with them. So they exiled him to the back yard until he either escaped or they just let him go.

Brave is 3 years old and learning what it is like to be a loved member of a family. He is a sweet shy boy who loves other dogs but needs to be introduced slowly to humans (who could blame him?) His foster has been taking him out to different public places to help him understand that all humans are not bad and he is slowly learning.

He would do best with a home with NO cats and older (16 and above) children.
